Life

As children we take for granted the things our parents do & say!!! As we get older (teenage years) we don't just ignore them we have a tendancy to dispise them!!!

Then we become young adults, we think we'll never say what our parents did!!!! We feel that we can do & say what we want & no one can stop us!

Then we become parents and all of a sudden those words we would never say start spouting from our mouths. We may still dispise our parents for some aspect of our lives but we should also thank them! For they are the ones that brought us into this grand adventure that we call life!! The ups & the downs - the good & the bad!

Bad things will always happen in our lives but the key to not letting it tear you up is acceptance!!! Acceptance that you are where you are suppose to be at this time!!! Why you ask? Maybe because of choices you have made or maybe just because you are at a point in your life where a certain life lesson is needed!!!! It may be that something down the road, in this grand adventure, requires it!!!!

Everyone of us on this earth is EQUAL!!! No matter race, religion or sexual orientation!!! Living our lives with love & caring for others on this earth & not only thinking about ourselves is necessity!!! For we are all connected -animal, vegtable& mineral, & when we only think of ourselves we lose out on so much that this grand adventure has in store!!

The Dalai Lama's 11th Rule for Living:Live a good honourable life. Then when you get older & think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time!

  1. You know that I believe that all things happen for a reason. We don't always know at the time what that reason is. But sometimes, not always, in later years, we realize that we've climbed mountains and trudged through valleys in order to help someone else along life's path. I've seen this many times during my life.

I believe that, as women, we have trials and tribulations in order to make us stronger. Forged in fire, we are made strong, as steel is made strong when forged.

Bringing you up as a single mother wasn't easy. Yes, I made mistakes and yes, we had hard times, but being a mother yourself you know that it is easier to see the solutions to other people's dilemmas than it is to see our own.

I think we've done well over the years and you have turned into a strong and caring woman and mother. I must have done something right and you have made many good decisions as well.

Life is a constant learning tool and like you, I want to continue learning as long as I live.

Enjoy the evening with your family.

    Love and blessings,
    Mom
